Ron and Suzanne were involved in specialist dog showing for many years as well as gaining dairy herd managers qualifications in the dairy farming industry around the Golden Bay area.

Having always had pets of one sort or another, every cat that has been a part of our family has started their lives as residents of the S.P.C.A.

It’s quite obvious that First Aid Services (Nelson – Marlborough – West Coast – Nth. Canterbury) would become supporters of S.P.C.A. in the regions we service.

How we do this:

  • By having our company vehicles branded with the S.P.C.A. logo we hope to raise the profile of this very deserving organization in the hope that other businesses may consider them as an option to become recipients through donations and other types of funding.

  • First Aid Services (Nelson – Marlborough – West Coast – Nth. Canterbury) have, since taking over these service areas, donated a minimum of $1.00 for every first aid kit sold, so as our business grows so too will the benefits to this worthy cause.

  • With the continuing need to replace expired medical items in all first aid kits we end up with an abundance of out-dated dressing pads, bandages, irrigations, antiseptic wipes, Tapes, etc. the likes of which we donate to the S.P.C.A. if the owners prefer not to keep them.

This is our way of ensuring that the S.P.C.A. can continue their vital work caring for sick and injured animals.
